Rejoiced in mild winter weather by painting our toenails.

Made lots of sweets.

And then of course ate very sensibly.

Opened gifts early with family.

Played with the packaging instead.

Relaxed after hard work of gift unwrapping and watched some Tink.

Was so excited to get new shoes!

Prepared for the toy onslaught by assembling more shelving.

Got another gift early, because I was too lazy to wrap it.

Celebrated Christmas Eve with some dancing. . .

and dancing, and dancing until wearing Daddy out. . . to Christmas carols, which Daddy just wanted to sing.

Took picture in new jammies.

Got a wagon and took off without another glance at the stack of presents waiting.

Found the joy in tug-o-war with cool ripping sounds.

Got lost in the sea of stuff.

Forgot her new toys and went back to playing with the old ones.

OK, not entirely.

Wouldn't keep barrettes in, so forced Mommy to cut bangs.

Mastered squinty-cheese smile, and climbing on stuff.

Put tree away.

Vacuumed, several times.

Had first ear infection.

Went to bed at a sensible hour to greet the new year bright-eyed (or that's the plan).

The end. . . of December.
