I am filling this space today with some hair pics. Because that is the other thing on my phone besides construction pics.

Love day Hair.
And a miracle. Jovey fell asleep while I was detangling her hair! This does not happen. This is usually our day of tears and bribery. Nope the clouds parted and the heavens smiled upon us. ;)
People don't understand the maintenance Jovey's hair requires. Let me give you a cliffnotes version. Once a week we call Hair Day, because that is our intense day of work. We do a hot coconut oil treatment, then shampoo, then condition, then deep condition with a heat cap for 30 minutes, then rinse, then leave in conditioner and detangle. After detangle we oil and style, or protect it to style another day. That is Hair Day. That takes us, what feels like, all day. This is not our favorite day, but Jovey knows we all have to endure it or else it all gets cut off. ;)
That's just hair day. I do a finger detangle any day that her hair is loose and it gets leave-ins and oils then too. It's all worth it. The other day Jovey was skipping through the house saying, "I love my poofy hair!" Makes my heart happy.
It's a good thing I don't have much hair, cause my girls sure do require a lot of my attention for theirs. Silver lining, thanks Grandma W. ;)
